Who is Michael Purdy?

I started playing guitar when I was 7 years old under the watchful eye of Ron Wilson. When I was a teenager, I was part of the worship band at Community Bible Church.

After a brief hiatus, I continued my musical journey and began teaching guitar. I recently received an Associate Degree in music performance from Ventura College where I studied classical guitar with master guitarist Carlos Gonzalez. I also played with the chamber music group and was a member of the jazz band.

I am currently a senior enrolled at Cal State Northridge majoring in music therapy and studying classical guitar.
